   Welcome to KIRF INDIA!
Diane Kirwin holding the future in her arms in Bairadih KIRF India provides education, medical care and the tools for economic self-suffiency to men, women and children of the Dalit caste in rural villages in the state of Bihar, India. While the caste system no longer exists legally, socially it is still experienced every day by the poor. By providing an education and basic needs for survival, KIRF India is improving the lives of children so they and their decendents may have a better future. KIRF INDIA partners with villagers for ecolologically and financially sustainable development that is culturally appropriate.

KIRF INIDIA (known in India as Kirwin International Relief Foundation Bodhgaya Indian Charitable Trust) is a locally
 run and managed Indian non-profit organization based in Bodhgaya, India. Bodhgaya is a World Heritage and Buddhist pilgrimage site in the northern Indian state of Bihar. KIRF INIDA's Educational Centers have served more than 450 children who have lived without adequate safe drinking water, nutritious food, electricity or sanitation in rural villages surrounding Bodhgaya.
